What is Visign?
Visign is an innovative online platform and community. Our mission is to empower students to create relevant and compelling artworks for the entertainment industry, through unique courses offering a comprehensive understanding of the pillars of art for entertainment industry.

Who are the instructors teaching the courses?
Courses are taught by experienced and accomplished artists, professionals, and educators who specialized in their respective fields. They provide valuable insights, guidance and expertise to help students hone their artistic skills.
The artists providing the courses worked with companies such as: Ubisoft, Volta, Atomhawk, IGG, Epic Games, Blur, Airship Syndicate, Riot Games, Psyop LA, Phoenix Labs, Wildlife Studios, New3Edge, MTG, Fantasy Flight Games, Hitpointpress, Wizards of the Coast, Blizzard, Aaron Sims Creative, CGMA. Each course clearly indicates the instructor who is teaching it.

Are Visign courses accredited/certified?
No. We focus on curating course content to offer unique, research-based content that is exclusive & up-to-date with industry standards, rather than adapting our courses to external requirements.

What is the level of the courses?
Courses range from beginner to advanced – wherever you are in the learning process, there is something for you in the Visign curriculum. Each course specifies the level it’s designed for.
How are courses structured?
Courses are structured into weeks, each week broken down into bite-sized video content. If a course has more than 5 weeks, the weeks may be grouped into terms.
Each course covers theory and application/demos on the respective topic. Each course has an overview of the weekly content that you can review before purchasing the course.
How long does a course last?
Courses are structured into several weeks of content, that students can follow at their own pace. The duration of the courses varies, depending on the complexity and depth of the subject matter. Each course specifies the duration and overview of the weekly content.
How can I access a course?
Courses can be purchased on Visign platform; simply add a course to cart and proceed with the payment process. After purchase, a course can be accessed online, directly in your account on the platform website, anywhere, anytime, without having to download an app. You only require an Internet browser and Internet connection to access the platform.
Is there instructor feedback / live Q&A discussion?
No. Since students can follow courses at their own pace, there is no live session of feedback / Q&A. However, you can ask questions in Class Questions and Chat, and join our Discord community to share your artworks, exchange ideas and seek feedback from peers and instructors, as well as access the Student section to discuss with fellow students.
Is there a community forum or discussion board for students?
Yes, we have two ways of offering a supportive learning community to our students. One is Class Questions and Chat, where students can interact on a specific course and its content. The second is our Discord community, where students and other artists can interact, share their artworks, exchange ideas and seek feedback from peers and instructors.
Can I share my account with someone else so they can access the course?
No. Accessing the platform with another user’s account or giving someone else access to your account is prohibited under Terms of Service Sections 3 and 4, and may result in a permanent termination of your account. For more details, please consult the Terms of Service, linked at the bottom of the page.
Can I share course information publicly?
Course information is copyrighted material and you may not use it for commercial purposes. If you wish to use course information for other purposes, contact us at contact@visign.com.
How long do I have access to a course I purchased?
You have lifetime access to a course you purchase. Lifetime access is defined as: so long as Visign is offering the course.

Why should I sign up to the newsletter?
Sign up to be the first to know about upcoming courses, to receive important updates, art tips and process improvement techniques.
What do I get if I sign up to the newsletter?
You get a free document with exclusive tips on drawing and learning art when you sign up. Stay subscribed to receive more useful materials along the way, as well as important updates and early access to courses.
Do I need to pay to join the Discord community?
No, joining the community is free for everyone.
Why should I join the Discord community if I’m not taking a course?
You have the opportunity to meet 1800+ artists and get inspiration and resources. Visign Discord community is a friendly place for artists of all levels to share art, get and give feedback, share art and career resources, network in the industry, and participate in events such as art challenges and portfolio reviews with Visign leading artists.
Is there anything special in the Discord community if I’m taking a course?
Apart from the resources in the general channels, you will have access to the Student section where you can interact with other students, share your homework, exchange ideas and seek feedback from peers and instructors.

PRICING
Do I have to pay to sign up to the newsletter?
Signing up to the newsletter is free – you only pay for any individual course(s) you wish to take.
What is the price range of Visign courses?
The price for each course is clearly indicated in the respective course page. The price for each individual course varies depending on research amount included in its creation and quality benchmark set forth for you as a student.
How do I pay?
You can pay by card upon purchasing a course. All payments are secured through Stripe.
Do you offer refunds?
Unfortunately, we do not offer refund policies. However, each course has detailed information on the contents, structure, duration, level, instructor etc., so you can be sure to choose the one that is best for you before making a purchase.
Is there a subscription-based option to access the courses?
At the moment, no. Courses can be purchased individually.
GIFTING
Can I buy a course for someone else, as a gift?
Yes, simply click “Gift this course” instead of “Buy it now” from the course page, and fill in the name and e-mail address of the person you want to gift the course to. You will pay normally, and your friend will receive an e-mail to access their gift.
What do I need to do in order to gift someone else a course?
You just need to create an account with us (this is free). You don’t need to buy anything else before buying a gift course for someone else.
What information do I need in order to gift someone a course?
You will need to fill in their name and e-mail address. The e-mail address is critical, because this is how we’ll notify them of your gift. If the e-mail address is incorrect, they won’t be able to receive your gift. Please check it thoroughly before placing your gift purchase!
I made a mistake in the e-mail address and the gift recipient never received it. What can I do?
Write to us at contact@visign.com. We will check the situation and, if possible, amend the e-mail address.
Does the recipient of a gift need to have a Visign account?
Yes, they need a Visign account in order to access their course. If they’re already enrolled with us when you send them the gift, they will be notified by e-mail and see it directly in their course library. If they’re not enrolled with us, they will receive e-mail instructions in order to create their account, and will see your gift in their course library once the account is set up.
What happens if I gifted a course to someone who’s already enrolled in that course?
We strongly recommend that you check with your friend whether they are enrolled in a course, before gifting them the course. We do not offer refund policies.
